Before Kaveri can call the police, Chaudhary intervenes and stops Kaveri from involving the police in family matters. Chaudhary then feigns sympathy and tells Saloni that she could have asked him for the money instead of stealing. Saloni tries her best to convince everyone that she is innocent, but nobody believes her. When Ambica asks Saloni from where she got the money for Neel's treatment, Saloni remains silent. This makes everyone feel that Saloni is guilty. However, Saloni later tells Gayatri how she arranged the money. Saloni further tells Gayatri that her parents will feel bad to know that she had earned the money by singing. Meanwhile, Kaveri shocks Samar by announcing that she has decided to leave the house. When Ambica comes to know of this, she gets worried and feels that it may create a bad impression on Nahar and his family. In order to stop Kaveri from leaving the house, Ambica tells Saloni to apologise to Kaveri. Kaveri feels elated and sports a vicious smile when Saloni admits of stealing the money and apologises.
