Ambica requests the doctor to do something and abort Shubra's pregnancy, but the doctor remains firm. She tells Ambica that if Shubra's pregnancy is forcibly aborted, then it may cause danger to Shubra's life. It is also be possible that Shubra may never conceive in future. Meanwhile, Tara asks Saloni to go to her parents' place and talk about the alliance which she has suggested for Shubra. Everyone is surprised to see Saloni. Saloni tells her parents that she has brought an alliance for Shubra, but no one shows any interest. Saloni finds her parents' behaviour strange. She meets Shubra and is shocked to see her crying. However, Shubra makes a story. Saloni then gets shocked when she sees Narpat and Ambica confronting each other. Saloni is taken aback when Narpat loses his cool and chides her. Narpat tell Saloni to stop being so inquisitive and mind her own business. Saloni walks away angrily. Later, Kaveri tells Narpat and Ambica that they should fix Shubra's alliance somewhere else, but Narpat does not feel it right to keep anyone in dark. In frustration, Shubra tells everyone that she has decided to put an end to her life. She shocks everyone by holding a knife and tries to stab herself.
