Plot of Sanjog TV Show

The story of the TV show revolves around two women whose lives accidentally intertwine after their daughters accidentally got exchanged at the time of birth. Amrita belongs to an affluent Kothari family and is married to Rajiv. While she is desperately trying to be a mother, her husband was found cheating with Amrita’s best friend, Rakshita. On the other hand, Gauri is married to Gopal. Both are petty thieves; however, Gauri desires to live a luxurious life like the affluent. Both these women, belonging to different socio-economic backgrounds and mindsets, collide with each when they arrive in the same hospital to give birth to their child. Amrita gives birth to a girl child, Chanda, whereas Gauri gives birth to another girl child, Tara. However, at the time of their birth, the new born babies accidentally got swapped. The story then fast-forwards to 7 years, where Chanda was growing up with Gauri and Tara was growing up with Amrita. Unaware of their daughters’ interchange, both Amrita and Gauri were confused about their children’s contrasting personalities. Will they ever come to know the truth? Will Chanda and Tara meet their biological parents?
