The Tamil TV Show revolves around a successful entrepreneur who establishes a high value on education. But when an illiterate woman marries into her family, her perspective shifts.

Successful merchant Veda Valli values education and wants her future daughter-in-law to pursue a degree. However, Vidhya, an illiterate woman but gifted with vast knowledge about many things, becomes her daughter-in-law when she marries Veda Valli’s son, Sanjay. Vidhya is projected as a maid by Sanjay before his mother and he calls her Vani. Sanjay instructs her on how to carry herself around Veda Valli.
