Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is a Hindi comedy TV show about two couples, the Mishra’s and the Tiwari’s, who live in each other’s neighbourhood. Two men from the family, Vibhu and Manmohan Tiwari are drawn to each other's wives and try various, ultimately hilarious, ways to impress them. Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is an ongoing comedy TV show with around 2058 episodes that are approximately 21 minutes each.

The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai TV serial is set in Kanpur's fictional Modern Colony"\ and centres around two adjacent couples. The men, Vibhutinarayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, have been married for seven years and, unknowing to one another, are charmed by each other's wives. The majority of the comedy TV show takes place in their individual residences. The characters also go to a local tea shop, where they generally talk about their current lives and general topics. Both guys drag each other down and cause issues for others as they plan schemes to impress each other's wives (Angoori and Anita).

1. The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai TV serial is based on the Hindi sitcom Shrimaan Shrimati (1990).
2. Rashmi Desai was cast as the character of ‘Angoori’ before the comedy TV show went into production. Rashmi Desai declined the part, and the role went to Shilpa Shinde.
3. To celebrate the third anniversary of the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai TV serial, the entire cast and crew travelled to Goa, a beach vacation destination, in March 2018 and shot a complete plot sequence titled "Kanpur to Goa."
Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’s shooting location is in Naigaon.
