Sukumari and Padma are shocked to see Mathur exiting Jagadamba's room. Jogmaya talks to Rani and Chandra about Mathur and Jagadamba, and Sukumari vows to expose Mathur and Jagadamba. Jagadamba disguises herself as Karunamoyee in order to deceive the Das family and go to school. Sukumari grows suspicious when she learns that Karunamoyee and Mathur have left the Marh house to perform a 'puja'. Later, Jogmaya tells Rani that Mathur and Jagadamba have left the Marh house early in the morning.
