Rani gets distressed with Shoroju's accusation on her. Ishwar tells Rani that the Brahmins will oppose her decision of building an inn for the widows. Ishwar also supports Madhab's wish of marrying Kusum. Chandra informs Rani that Tarkalankar wants to have a trial session against Rani's wish of establishing an inn for the widows. Chandra fumes at Abhay for complaining to the Brahmins against Rani. Thereafter, Padma accuses Kusum of causing brawl in her family.
