Starring Yogesh Tripathi as inspector Happu Singh and Kamna Pathak as his wife Mrs. Rajesh Singh, the AndTV show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan is a comedy-drama serial. The show revolves around Happu Singh, a family man, who works very hard as a police constable to provide for his family- his mother, wife and nine children! It is a spin-off of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain that airs on the same channel. The show has hilarious dialogues will give you a stomach ache out of uncontrollable laughter! Have a look at a few of them:

Happu and Rajesh keep sassing each other throughout the day! In the first dialogue, Happu Singh is singing a famous Bollywood number “Panchi Banu Udta Phiru“, in the male version when it’s actually a track sung by a female. It means, “I’ll fly like a bird in the open sky”. And her wife immediately cuts him off saying, “Fly in your house only, the hot neighbour has gone to her maayke (mother’s house)!”

When Rajesh goes to her maayke (mother’s house), Happu Singh celebrates shamelessly. Rajesh says, “How many times should I tell you that I’m not coming back to your house? Why do you keep calling me for this?” And Happu replies, “I love to listen to it again and again!”

While Happu is trying to flirt with his wife by singing the famous Bollywood song that translates into, “I see God in you, what should I do?” To that, Rajesh blatantly answers, “What will you do? Bow down your head and pay Rs. 2000 as an offering!” Happu ends with his catchphrase “Arre dada“!

The patent question of every wife, Rajesh asks Happy whether she looks fat. He replies saying, “No darling, you’re perfectly fine!” Trying to be romantic, Rajesh says, “Then please pick me up and take me to the kitchen, I’m super hungry”. Making a face, Happu says, “Wait, I’ll lift the fridge itself and bring it here!”

Rajesh returns home and Happu asks her, “Where did you go?” Rajesh answers saying, “I went to donate blood.” Mocking her, Happu’s response is, “You’ve sucked so much of my blood, is it overflowing now, that you’ve started to sell it as well?” Basically, Happu calls him a khoon-choosne-wali!

Rajesh is angry with Happu, thinking about he could forget her birthday. But Happu saves himself, replying, “How do I remember it? You always look like you’re 24 years old!” Rajesh is surprised and says, “Really?” But under his breath, Happu thinks “Thank God I remembered the dialogue, at least my life is saved!”

Trying to romance Rajesh, Happu says, “If anything happens to you, I will go mad!” To this, Rajesh replies, “You won’t marry again right?” But, Happu, referring to himself, shamelessly answers, “You trust this mad person, he can do anything!” This is the kind of banter they keep having. Ah, Happu and Rajesh we tell you!

When Rajesh is at her maayke (mother’s house), she misses Happu! Expressing the same to him, she says, “I miss you so much that I’ve become half in 15 days. When are you coming to take me back?” Happu crosses his limits when he says, “I’ll come after 15 days more!” Who says that? Poor Rajesh!

Happu is half-bald and Rajesh takes a dig at him saying, “If your hair keeps falling like this, I’m going to divorce you!” Happu exclaims, “Arre dada, I made a mistake!” Rajesh inquires, “What mistake?” Shameless as usual, Happu says, “The mistake of saving my hair from falling!” Well, Happu’s savagery clearly knows no bounds.

In the disguise of complimenting her, Happu tells Rajesh, “One should learn self-control from you, I have to give that to you!” Rajesh agrees, but asks him, “Self-control for what?” And Happu romances her and mocks her at the same time by saying, “You eat so many sweets the entire day, but you don’t let even a single sweet word come out of your mouth for me. What self-control!”
