Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made In India marked its 3rd anniversary. The movie is a Sharat Katariya directorial. On this occasion, Anushka took to her social media to celebrate this milestone of the movie.
Anushka Sharma shared a video of different BTS of the movie and how a particular scene was shot by the team. The song Khatar Patar is playing in the background. At the end of the video you can also see the big army it took to tailor this dream to life.

Varun Dhawan also posted the same video and shared a still from the film hoping Mauji and Mamta always stay alive in viewers hearts.
For those who don’t know Sui Dhaaga’s story revolves around a married couple who reside in a small-town in India with big dreams. The duo start their own small-scale clothing business. The film was shot in Chanderi, Bhopal, Delhi and Ghaziabad. it received positive reviews from critics and proved to be a commercial success at the box office. The film recieved six nominations at the 64th Filmfare Awards including Best Actress (Critics) for Sharma and Best Supporting Actress for Yamini Dass, who played Dhawan’s mother in the film.

Sui Dhaaga was based on the ‘Make in India’ campaign launched by the government in 2014. The campaign was aimed at promoting the country’s indigenous textile industries.
Anushka also shares that India has produced amazing entrepreneurs over the years. She thinks start-up and entrepreneurship is big deal over here and that’s celebrated in the film. The characters in this film didn’t have the opportunities but they had a lot of talent and the kind of struggle our characters go through to achieve their goal is truly an inspiring story. Anushka also believes every individual will connect with this film because everyone has experienced struggle in their lives. People will also relate with each character of the film, be it parents, husband or wife in the film. Anushka thinks this film is a full on family entertainer.
