4 Recent Jail Dramas That Separated Our Favourite Couples Like Abhi-Pragya And Karan-Preeta

Storylines of the Zee shows are getting more and more gripping with each passing day. While on one story we see a new drama unfold after a five-year leap, on the other we witnessed the wedding of the decade. But one thing that has been happening lately is the jail drama. Here, one of the characters from our favourite Zee couples is getting arrested, especially for something they haven’t done, ensuing a separation track between the said couple. Elaborating on the same, here are some of the recent jail dramas separating our dearest lovebirds.

Abhi Gets Arrested In Fake Rape Case (Kumkum Bhagya)

Almost everyone on Kumkum Bhagya has been arrested for something they didn’t do. Right from Pragya (Sriti Jha), Prachi and now Abhi. In the recent track, we saw Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) gaining his memory and instantly throwing out Aliya (Reyhna Pandit) and Tanu (Leena Jumani) from his house.

Although Aliya played the sibling card and retained her place in Abhi’s houses by getting on his emotional side, Tanu couldn’t do the same. So she decided to go bad and get revenge on the Mehras. Now Tanu has alleged that Abhi has raped her and thus our rockstar has been arrested by the police thereby separating him from Pragya.

Preeta Gets Arrested For Akshay’s Murder (Kundali Bhagya)

Recently, Kundali Bhagya has turned into a murder mystery with Akshay’s murder and the ongoing investigation. In the recent episodes, we saw Preeta (Shraddha Arya) get arrested for Akshay’s murder while Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) looked extremely upset with the former for not telling him. Not just the arrest, but even the secrets have come in the way between Karan and Preeta.

Veer Got Himself Arrested To Save Rajeshwari (Apna Time Bhi Aayega)

Although right now Rani Sa (Tannaz Irani) is in jail, we can’t forget the time when Veer (Fahmaan Khan) was in jail on Apna Time Bhi Aayega. Rani (Megha Ray) applied every trick in the book to make sure he comes out unscathed, as she knew he was innocent. Despite all her efforts, now, even after Veer coming out of jail, the couple is separated. This has happened as Jai Singh kidnapped Rani in order to try and get Rajeshwari out of jail.

Neel Was Framed For Mr Baig’s Murder (Qurbaan Hua)

How can we even mention jail dramas and forget about Qurbaan Hua? This show gave us a nailbiting sequence when Neel (Rajveer Singh) was about to be hanged for Mr Baig’s murder. Although thankfully, he was saved in the end. But this track also became a major reason for Neel and Chahat’s (Pratibha Ranta) separation track, which is still going on after the five-year leap.

While we agree that distance makes the heart grow fonder, we definitely want these jail dramas to end soon so that our favourite ZEE couple can reconcile.
