The topmost reason for it being great is the brilliant team of CGI and VFX artists, who brought Namma Sahasa Simha Dr Vishnuvardhan back onscreen, many years after his unfortunate passing. If you are a fan, this movie is a must watch primarily because it doesn’t seem like graphics at all. He looks like he is really back! The protagonists Nagcharan and Manasa, played by Diganth and Sandalwood Queen Ramya respectively, have done justice to their characters with extreme precision.

1. Ramya’s comeback
Ramya gave her fans some great news when she agreed to do this film because this was her comeback two years after joining the parliament. Also, Ramya’s part in the film was challenging as she had to play not one but three different characters altogether and she excelled in all of them.
2. Dr Vishnuvardhan’s promise
According to a leading daily, it was known that Kodi Ramakrishna and Dr Vishnuvardhan were good friends and the latter had promised to work with the former for one of his films. Due to his untimely demise, the dream was unfulfilled. While thinking of making the movie, Kodi got another chance to bring back his old pal onscreen as a personal tribute and thereby fulfilled the promise.
3. Graphics
Did you know that the VFX team of the film Nagarahavu worked on the hit movie Baahubali as well? No wonder the movie has such high-quality graphics that blew my mind away. Right from the beginning till the end, the movie won my heart graphically!
4. Nomination for a US award
Yes! That’s right! A 3D poster of Nagarahavu with Dr Vishnuvardhan wearing the attire of a King was nominated for the Lenstar Lenticular Print Award 2016, as reported by a leading daily. This event takes place every year in the USA.
5. Darshan’s tribute
If you have seen the movie, then you must have totally enjoyed watching Namma Challenging Star Darshan perform excellently in a tribute song to Dr Vishnuvardhan. His zeal and enthusiasm gave me goosebumps.
