Mrs Mukhyamantri is based on the life of Samar and Summi. Samar and his family have been involved in politics for a very long time. His passion for the field has driven him to become the chief minister of the state. His wife Summi is a small-town girl who handles her own business. Even though these characters are poles apart, they stick together by a binding force of love. Their sparkling chemistry proves the fact they are meant to be together. Samar’s involvement in politics, however, lands him in troubled waters. He faces trouble in many forms, especially from his arch-rival in politics, Shinde. Recently, the show had a new entrant Dhanashree who was hired as Samar’s personal assistant. She hides that she is actually Shinde’s daughter and gets a job at Samar’s factory. Hemangi started her career with small screen roles before she landed up in films. She was a part of the comedy reality show Fu Bai Fu and was partnered with Kushal Badrike. She has also acted in Zee Yuva’s popular TV show Phulpakhru.
3. She has acted in several plays
The actress has also worked in several plays throughout her career. However, the highpoint of her career was when she played the role of Manjula in renowned writer P.L Deshpande’s classic play Ti Phulrani. The actress was paired alongside Girish Oak who’s currently playing Abhijeet in Agga Bai Sasubai.
4. Hemangi is close friends with Nehha Pendse
The actress considers Neha Pendse as her bestie. The two are often seen hanging around together.

Hemangi has acted in a number of Marathi films including Pipani, Savita Damodar Paranjape, and Bandishala. She has been awarded the Late V. Shantaram award for her performance in Dhudgus. She is a complete movie buff and her favourite films include Taare Zameen Par, Gravity, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
