5 ‘Mehmaan’ Like Tanu And Mahira Who Overstayed Their Welcome In TV Shows!

Many Zee TV shows show big joint families who are rich, influential and have elegant and huge houses. And some women in the shows have taken advantage of this and often stayed in their houses for years! It’s a very common sight in shows these days as friends, ex-finances and ex-girlfriends in many shows have actually stayed in the hero’s house for years together! This close proximity has always given them an advantage of plotting evil schemes to separate the leads. And while we speak of this, does any name ring a bell? We surely can think of these five women from Zee shows who, in reality, are just mehmaans but have overstayed their welcome for so long.

Tanu

At the beginning of Kumkum Bhagya, before Pragya (Sriti Jha) entered Abhi’s (Shabir Ahluwalia) life, Tanu (Leena Jumani) was his model girlfriend. When he got married to Pragya, she was shattered and swore to separate them as she wanted him for her own. She lived in the Mehra house and teamed up with Aliya (Reyhna Pandit) to plot evil plans against Pragya. She technically was not related to Abhi anymore but still stayed in his house for years to come! After briefly disappearing from the show, Tanu was back on the show and is hell determined to ruin Mehras this time.

Mahira

In Kundali Bhagya, Mahira (Swati Kapoor) is actually someone Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) grew up with and has been a family friend of the Luthras for many years. When she shows up at the Luthra house to stay for a couple of days, we thought that she will probably exit in a couple of days but hey, that was definitely not the case. She fell in love with Karan and you know what happens next. She starts plotting against Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and when Rakhi (Anisha Hinduja) asks her to leave the house, she slits her wrists in order to gain sympathy. While this happened last year, nothing really has changed ever since. She’s still continuing her evil plotting against Preeta and yes, she’s still staying with them.

Kiara

In Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Kiara (Preyal Shah) was Veer’s (Fahmaan Khan) fiance before he married Rani (Megha Ray). Kiara is everything Rani Sa (Tannaz Irani) wanted in a daughter-in-law. She is rich, smart and has a style that suits the Royal family. Veer had agreed to get engaged to Kiara because Rani Sa liked her. But shouldn’t Kiara leave the house, now that Veer is married to Rani? Guess not! She’s still residing with them and thinking of ways to come between Veer-Rani!

Nia

In Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega Nia (Maera Mishra) was original to be married to Agastya (Savi Thakur) but Choti Guddan (Kanika Mann) gets married to him instead. But even after his marriage, Nia doesn’t leave the house and in fact, is supported by Pushpa and Saraswati to devise evil plans and ruin Choti Guddan’s happiness! Nia is constantly present in the house and around the new couple even though she is not related to the family any longer!

Pia

Kasamh Se‘s Pia (Roshni Chopra) was quite the villain. A complete opposite of her older sister Bani (Prachi Desai), Pia was materialistic and greedy. When the sisters stayed at the Walia house, Pia was to marry Mr Walia (Ram Kapoor) but instead runs away with Pushkar. Bani then has to get married to Mr Walia but Pia returns in their life. She stays in the Walia house and starts thinking of ways to break her own sister’s marriage! She was even successful in breaking it twice at least!
