1. Bollywood debut of Hina Khan.

Television actress Hina Khan leapt into the film fraternity with Hacked. Making her Bollywood debut, she essays the character of Sameera Khanna, nicknamed as Sam, a career-oriented woman who works at a huge magazine company. She has a fragile relationship with Om Kapoor but her neighbour Vivek also has a crush on her. The movie portrays how Sam’s life turns upside down when Vivek hacks all her social media accounts, leading her to take a huge step in order to safeguard herself eventually!

From the director of Ghost, Raaz, 1920 and Haunted 3D, this movie is not just another horror or thriller film. Helmed by Vikram Bhatt, Hacked is a contemporary psychological suspense movie that deals with modern crimes prevalent in the world of digital and internet technology. Quoted by a leading daily, Vikram said, “I chose to use a subject very close to reality by showcasing to them the real horror of matters in their daily lives. In this age of social media, everybody is vulnerable to being hacked and nobody knows about it and it would take one clever hacker to ruin our lives within few minutes.”

Along with Hina Khan, Hacked features Rohan Shah as Vivek, a 19-year old boy whose obsessive love for Sameera becomes criminally dangerous. He hacks Sameera’s computer and leaks out sensitive plus confidential information about the magazine company that Sam works at. Well, Sid Makkar essays Om Kapoor, the on-and-off boyfriend of Sameera who also gets into trouble because of Vivek. Later, Sameera seems to start a fresh life with another neighbour and childhood friend Rohan Mehra, portrayed by Mohit Malhotra.

Hacked is sure to set you on an adrenalin rush and keep you at the edge of your seat! You can’t wait to see how drastically an ordinary person’s life can change owing to cybercrime and obsessive love. Sameera Khanna aka Sam is career-oriented and works at a magazine company. She ends up kissing and having passionate sex with her neighbour Vivek in a drunk state. When Sam asks him to forget everything as a stupid mistake, Vivek’s crush on her turns into a mad obsession. Sam has #NowhereToHide as Vivek hacks all her social media accounts and threatens to leak the videos of her making love. What happens, in the end, is smeared with rejection and revenge!

Labelled under Zee Music Company, the film’s music is composed by a bunch of talented contemporary musicians! The song Mehfooz is written, directed and sung by Arko. Penned by Amjad Nadeem and Yasser Desai, Ab Na Phir Se is a ballad through Sameera’s life. Vivek’s obsession is translated into Tujhe Haasil Karunga, a song by Sunny and Inder Bawra. The music album also includes Tu Jo Mili and Lavkar Love Karuya!
