5 Stirring Highlights From The Bangla TV Serial Amloki That You Will Enjoy Watching

Amloki is a heartwarming Zee Bangla TV serial about the titular protagonist, who is a six-year-old little girl. Amloki (played by actor Aishwarya Roy) was born with a speech and hearing impairment, and is dependent entirely on her hardworking mother, Chandana (played by actor Antara). They share a beautiful relationship, and their unique mother-daughter bond is what makes Amloki so special. Here are some of the most moving scenes from the Bengali TV show that you will love.

1. Amloki Goes Missing

In this scene from the TV serial, Amloki goes missing. Gaurav (Bhaswar Chatterjee) has looked for her everywhere but to no avail, and he returns home and reports this to Chandana, Amloki’s mother. Chandana is devastated and heartbroken, and naturally refuses to come to terms with the situation. In her hysterical state, she insists that Amloki is playing hide-and-seek with her and is staying away deliberately.

2. Mayna Hurts Amloki

Amloki has come to see her mother, who has been feeling unwell and is resting in bed. Mayna, Chandana’s other daughter, suddenly comes in and starts dragging Amloki away. Mayna is jealous and possessively claims that Chandana is her mother and Amloki must never go to her again. Chandana and Amloki start crying, and Mayna pushes the latter towards the door while Chandana tries to stop her.

3. Chandana Worries About The Mysterious Letter

Mira, Chandana’s sister-in-law, ridicules her and insinuates that she will not be able to manage all the housework, let alone host a puja. Mira waves a piece of paper in Chandana’s face and implies that she is guilty of some great misdeed! Chandana looks stricken and asks her what that is, and Mira takes it as a confirmation of her guilt. In fact, Chandana has been receiving mysterious notes with cryptic messages on them, and Mira has chanced upon one of them.

4. Chandana And Gaurav Celebrate Their Big Day

It is Durga Puja, and Chandana and Gaurav have a sensitive and emotional conversation about their marriage. However, Ratan, Chandana’s ex husband, a most useless man who cannot even care for Amloki properly and only wastes his life gambling, watches from a distance and plots to make a scene by putting sindoor on Chandana in public to assert his ‘rights’ over her, which he believes he has.

5. Gaurav Sympathises With Chandana

In this scene from Amloki, Chandana is beside herself with grief and regret after committing what she considers to be a grave mistake. She does not know how to face Gaurav after it, and shortly afterwards, he comes in and wants to speak to her. Chandana does not want to speak to him nor even face him, and brushes him away brusquely. Inside, she feels terrible and begs for his forgiveness, but Gaurav realises she is acting strangely for a reason. She has returned a piece of gold jewellery that his mother had given her and feels awful, but Gaurav knows that she clearly has her reasons and he sympathises.
