Directed by debutant Narthan, Mufti is an action-thriller film starring Shiva Rajkumar and Sriimurali in the lead roles. Ganaa (Sriimurali) is sent to Bhairathi Ranagal’s (Shiva Rajkumar) town called Ronapura, to expose his underworld rackets. Little does Ganaa know that Bhairathi will change his life forever. While their characters are two opposing forces from different backgrounds, when they come together, they are stronger than ever.
Mufti is an entertainer from the beginning till the end. Here’s proof:
The movie has a fabulous background score supported by killer action sequences. Most of these scenes prove that Ganaa is the hero, who always turns up to save the day. If you don’t believe me, check out these five instances from the film, which prove that he truly is the Roaring Star.
1. Ganaa to the rescue
Assuming that the people who are captured have been left for good, the goon relaxes to inform his boss that the port area is now theirs.
Little does he know, he will be beaten to a pulp in the next few minutes. Wanna guess by who?
2. Singa’s doubts
Singa isn’t sure if the supply they need to unload off of the train would be possible, due to the police raid.
Everyone is shocked to see the next turn of events. Well, you have to watch this amazing stunt sequence to know what I am talking about!
3. Possessive about his woman
Raksha finds herself in trouble with a few loafer men while returning home.
Well, not for too long!
4. Bhairathi’s visit to the temple
While on their way to the temple, Ganaa finds something fishy about the crowd around Bhairathi and starts observing.
What he does when Bhairathi is in danger, will totally shock you too.
5. The last action scene
The best action sequence in this movie is when Bhairathi is cornered by a corrupt politician, who takes advantage of the fact that the former is all alone and at his weakest.
He even sends his goons to finish off Bhairathi. But what follows next will fill you with the feeling of valour and thrill, something we all need once in a while.
The epitome of an ideal film, Mufti will surely lift up your spirits in the name of quality and quantity. Also, Sriimurali’s act as Ganaa has won my heart indefinitely. What about you?
