5 years of Katyaar Kaljat Ghusli: Subodh Bhave grateful for love from fans, thanks the film’s cast and crew

Directed by Subodh Bhave, the film Katyar Kaljat Ghusali featured an ensemble cast of Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shankar Mahadevan, Amruta Khanvilkar, Mrunmayee Deshpande and the actor himself lead roles. This film marked the directorial debut for Subodh Bhave and the acting debut for Shankar Mahadevan. The film which followed the story of the war between musical legends for the seat of a royal singer was critically acclaimed. As the film completes five years, Subodh Bhave took it to social media and wrote a heartfelt note on the same.

Actor Subodh Bhave took it to social media and wrote a heartfelt note about his film Katyar Kaljat Ghusali. He wrote that the film completed 5 years today and he’s grateful for the love the audience has showered on him and his film. Subodh Bhave wrote that he received immense love for his film back when it released and is grateful that he has been receiving the same amount of love even today. He added that his directorial dream would not have come true without the cast and crew who worked hard in making the film a success. He ended the sweet note by thanking his entire team of Katyar Kaljat Ghusali without whom, he thinks the film would not have been possible. Subodh Bhave played the character of Sadashiv Gurav, Panditji’s student in the film.

Subodh Bhave’s co-star Amruta Khanvilkar, who played the character of  Zareena, Khansaheb’s daughter in the film also expressed her gratitude as the film completed 5 years. She shared a few still from the movie and a few pictures with her entire team as she wrote a heartfelt note in the caption. She wrote, “Here is a film and all those people who truly helped me in seeing myself differently… I consider myself lucky to be a part of this film and this talented bunch.” She tagged a bunch of people in her post and individually thanked all those who helped her in shaping her career. Katyar Kaljat Ghusali released in 2015 and is considered to be one of the best Marathi films to date.
