The ZEE5 Original Jamai 2.0 season 2 started streaming recently. Apart from all the mysteries unfolding and #SidNi’s steaming romance, Ravi Dubey as Sidharth swooned our hearts with being the perfect ‘jamai’ we all want to see. However, not every Jamai deserves some sasural ka pyaar, right? There are few characters who are egoistic, misogynist and so not right for your daughters. To give an example of this, here’s a list of a few of these characters who love creating chaos in their sasural.

Pappu from Teri Meri Ikk Jindri

Pappu from Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is always ready to create a mess in his wife’s family. He thinks that he is superior to them and they should always suffer no matter what. He also envies his wife’s sister Mahi who he wants to bring down as he feels she lives with pride and girls shouldn’t have so much of an attitude. He’s a classic example of a misogynist and is definitely not an ‘ideal’ jamai.

Prithvi from Kundali Bhagya

Prithvi has made an entry in Kundali Bhagya after so long and this time he has entered as Karina’s son-in-law. However, in the end, he wants Preeta back and is using Kritika as a scapegoat. When your jamai doesn’t even love your daughter, would you call him a ‘jamai raja’?

Kuldeep from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti

Kuldeep from Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti is not fit to be an ideal husband and hence, not an ideal son-in-law too. Even after having a beautiful family, he had an extramarital affair with Samaira. With all the drama unfolding in his life, his kids too have to witness it at such a young age. While he may be a dutiful father, he’s certainly not a good jamai.

Samrat from Doli Armano Ki

Samrat in Doli Armano Ki is shown as an abusive man. He tortures his wife Urmi and also makes her life a living hell. Samrat also doesn’t care about their son Shaurya. Later, in the show, Urmi leaves her toxic marriage with Samrat after she finds about him having an affair. So a bad husband = a bad jamai.

Jai Singh from Apna Time Bhi Aayega

Jai Singh wanted to get married to Nandini. He was about to get engaged to Nandini when Rani exposed his wrong intentions. Jai Singh wanted Nandini to be his wife as she belonged to a royal family and he was greedy for money. Later, Jai Singh convinced Nandini that he is still in love with her and asks her to steal money for him. Now which ideal jamai would do that?

Dharmesh from Pavitra Rishta

Dharmesh is Archana’s sister Vaishali’s husband. Dharmesh is not fit for being an ideal son-in-law as he cheats on his wife Vaishali. Vaishali finds out that Dharmesh has another woman in his life and while he hasn’t married her, has a four-year-old child with her.

While our Zee families were fortunate enough to have jamais like Manav, Abhi and Karan, there were characters who made their wives say, ‘Saajan mat jao sasural’.
