How can we not start with the iconic couple of Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) from Kumkum Bhagya? Although they got married at the start of the show itself, they were complete opposites. Pragya was a sweet shy teacher while Abhi was an arrogant rockstar. But gradually as Pragya saw Abhi’s sweeter, more caring side, she fell for him. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Preeta and Karan (Kundali Bhagya)

Just like #AbhiGya, even #PreeRan was a couple who didn’t start off on the right foot. In fact, during the initial days of Kundali Bhagya, Preeta (Shraddha Arya) couldn’t stand Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and his ego. She always hated the fact that he was so full of himself. Then as the story progressed, she saw a different side of ‘The Karan Luthra’ and fell in love with him, so much so that now she’s even willing to sacrifice her life for him.

Kalyani and Malhar (Tujhse Hai Raabta)

Kalyani (Reem Shaikh) and Malhar’s (Sehban Azim) story from Tujhse Hai Raabta is utterly chaotic. Who would’ve thought that Kalyani would actually end up falling for the guy who forcefully married her because he thought she was the reason behind his first wife’s infidelity? But as we all know, Malhar has changed immensely since then, and so did Kalyani’s feelings for him. And now they’re totally in love with each other.

Chahat and Neel (Qurbaan Hua)

The whole concept of Qurbaan Hua was based on Chahat (Pratibha Ranta) and Neel’s (Rajveer Singh) rivalry. How does a girl even fall for someone who is hell-bent on taking revenge from her own father? Although the reason for Chahat’s marriage with Neel was simply enmity, the duo got closer over time, to the point where Chahat would do about anything for Neel and his well being.

Zoya and Asad (Qubool Hai)

Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Asad (Karan Singh Grover) from Qubool Hai are as iconic as a couple can get. In fact, that’s the reason we got a web reboot in the form of Qubool Hai 2.0. Although the television prequel still remains a favourite. Zoya and Asad literally define the term poles apart. They were extreme opposites with Zoya being bubbly, messy and fun-loving, while Asad was an angry young man with OCD. In fact, Zoya didn’t even like Asad during the start of the show. Who would’ve thought they’d end up becoming each other’s #EternalLove?

Twinkle and Kunj (Tashan-E-Ishq)

Twinkle (Jasmin Bhasin) from Tashan-E-Ishq never even liked Kunj (Sidhant Gupta) let alone getting married to him. But fate had something else in its store. Despite being hopelessly in love with Yuvraj (Zain Imam) Twinkle eventually realizes that Kunj is a good man, and falls head over heels for him.

Purvi and Arjun (Pavitra Rishta)

The love story of Purvi (Asha Negi) and Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani) started on Pavitra Rishta after a good generation leap. Purvi worked in Arjun’s office and wasn’t really fond of him. In fact, the couple used to argue at every chance possible. But eventually, they saw each other for their positive qualities and fell hopelessly in love with each other.

Mahi and Jogi (Teri Meri Ikk Jindri)

We know, we know, Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) isn’t supposed to be on this list yet. But with everything that has happened in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri and Jogi’s (Adhvik Mahajan) feelings out in the open, that day isn’t far when Mahi will also fall in love with the vella Jogi, a man she never thought she could fall for.
