83 Box-office Collection Day 5: Ranveer Singh Starrer Cricket Based Film Continues To Drop Figures At Ticket Window

Ranveer Singh played the character of Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev in the recently released film 83. The film was directed by Kabir Khan and saw Deepika Padukone playing the role of Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife. The film that tells the story of the victory of the Indian team at the world cup match of 1983 was released in theatres on December 24, 2021. Even if the film is loved by the people, it is experiencing a constant downfall at the box-office.

After the release of the film, the main thing is the box-office collection and even there is a race between the films about which flick collected the highest amount at the ticket window. Now, it looks like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer is falling away in the race as the film is not able to collect the huge amount at the box-office. The film 83 has collected Rs 6.70 crore on Tuesday i.e., on December 28.

The amount collected on day 5 is less than the amount grabbed on day 4 i.e., on December 27. The film 83 on its day 4 of release has collected Rs 7.29 crore. After collecting Rs 6.70 on its day 5 of release, the total amount collected by the film becomes Rs 60.99 crore. It seems like the film is not bucking up and is constantly on the verge of decline.

Generally, it is expected that any film gains more at the weekends but in the case of 83, the film scored more but was not enough to run in the race of the box-office. Now, very few days are in the hand of the film to speed as there are other films that are speeding up to get a theatrical release.

Alia Bhatt starrer RRR is already rushing to hit the silver screens on January 6, 2022. There is a plus point for 83 as the release date of Jersey has been pushed forward to the not yet mentioned release date. If you haven’t watched the film yet then book your tickets and rush to theatres to enjoy the film on the large screens.
