Tripathi was blown away by the “alignment, intensity, and team cohesion” displayed by the ensemble cast of 83. “When the audience will watch the movie, they will realize that the cast shared a tight bond even off-screen. During the filming, they enjoyed a lot on the sets. “Every day after the filming was over, Harrdy Sandhu and Ammy Virk used to sing songs on the bus back to their journey to the hotel, and everyone else would join the duo in a chorus,” the actor revealed.
Tripathi, who was the oldest actor on the set at the age of 83, received a lot of love and admiration. Other performers addressed him as sir.’ He was the only member of the cast who was addressed as such. “Ranveer Singh told him when they concluded the film’s Dharamshala schedule that the entire squad is fortunate to have collaborated with him and share the stage with him,” the actor remarked. He described his time with Singh on set as “bahut shaandaar,” adding that the actor “adores him a lot.” He also talked about his boyhood memories of growing up in a village and playing cricket in the gullies.
