In three years, Payal Rajput has made her mark in different film industries. The confident, pretty actress has been a part of many successful films in different languages. She made her debut in 2017 with the Punjabi film Channa Mereya. Payal played the role of Kainat Dhillon. Her looks and seamless acting have quickly registered among audiences. Kainat Dhillon is a flamboyant girl and Payal essays her in a way that almost overshadows her co-star Ninja aka Jagat. So, here we are the moments that define Payal aka Kainat.

1. When Kainat Shoos Away Jagat’s Friends From The Well

Jagat dreams of Kainat, a flamboyant girl who rides a Bullet wearing aviators, who is bold and frank enough to live life on own terms. Kainat and her friends are roaming in the farms and there Jagat’s buddies are enjoying their time in a well. Kainat reaches the well and commands everyone to step out as her girl gang wants to enjoy being in the well. The way she orders and the way the boys instantly obey her commands prove her powerful character.

With time, Jagat and Kainat come closer.  Jagat is a well mannered, shy-boy who doesn’t know how to confess his love and ask her out. So Kainat plans to call Jagat to her farm. He goes there with his friends. Soon, they’re left alone and then Kainat asks him to share his feelings for her. He tries to say something, but he is unable to put his feelings into words. Kainat says that he doesn’t have to be afraid of anything and open up. Jagat says that he finds her pretty and sweet, but still, he does not say what Kainat wants to hear. So, Kainat just says, “I love you.” Jagat is shocked into sharing his feelings and their love story begins.

At Balli’s (played by Amrit Maan) birthday party, Kainat’s father Shamsher Singh (played by Yograj Singh) catches Jagat and Kainat romancing, which leads to a major life-threatening conflict. Shamsher is against their relationship and he tries to force Kainat to get married to someone else. Kainat agrees to it as she wants to save Jagat’s life. But later, she meets Jagat and they decide to run away.

Jagat and Kainat are on the run. Shamsher Singh takes the help of cops and gets Jagat arrested. Jagat is beaten to a pulp in police custody. Kainat reaches the police station and requests the cops and her father to leave him. But they’re not convinced, so she dares to snatch the officer’s gun and warn them to leave Jagat alone. Cops release Jagat and run away. Later, they are again stopped by cops at a bridge and they decide to flee from there by jumping from the bridge into the river.

Kainat and Jagat reach Shimla and after facing severe difficulties, they find a friend in B.N. Sharma. Sharma gives them shelter and provides a job to Jagat at his tea stall. On the first day, Jagat burns his hand and when Kainat sees Jagat and his struggle, she cries, kisses his hand, and decides to help them by also taking up a job. Her expressions can make anyone emotional.

So these were the moments where the power in Payal Rajput’s performance shone out and made Kainat a memorable character.
