#EntertainmentUnlocked: Will Dripto Remember Noyon? We Got You A Quick Recap Of Trinayani

#EntertainmentUnlocked from today will see new episodes from many of our favourite Zee Bangla TV shows, including Trinayani. This popular Bengali serial starring Shruti Das and Gourab Roy Chowdhury in the lead roles will grace our screens anew from today! Here’s a look at all that took place before the lockdown paused all shooting for a while.

A lot had happened in the last few weeks of Trinayani. Nayan (played by Shruti Das) has regained her sight which she had lost, thanks to the good doctor at the ashram that she was staying in. She can see again, much to her delight. However, she wants her married life with Dripto and his family back, and wants to give up her current lifestyle of being worshipped by many of the devotees at the ashram. She has been dreaming of this for a while, and Dr Debdut and the authorities at the ashram want her to be happy. Nayan returns home accompanied by Dr Debdut, eagerly awaiting a warm welcome at their reunion.

Nayan returns home, and the entire household is stunned to find that she is alive, as they had believed her to be dead after she had gone missing from the hospital that she had been admitted in after the accident. In fact, a dead body had been found by the police in the river, and they had considered this confirmed. Thammi and Rangana are delighted to her again, but the rest of the family are shell-shocked. Protima is glad to see her again, but is equally devastated at the situation as she is now in cahoots with the evil Jasmine (Jasmine Roy), and Sanjukta (Debjani Chatterjee), Dripto’s stepmother.

When Nayan wants to see Dripto who she calls Boro Shaheb, nobody responds. She wonders what is wrong, and nobody wants to tell her that he has lost his memory after the accident and has started a new life without her. Nayan soon discovers this the hard way, when Dripto stumbles into the room because of the commotion and does not recognise her. He thinks her voice sounds familiar, but does not know why. Nayan is totally devastated. Heartbroken, she starts telling him that she is his wife, and is bewildered by the rest of the family’s silence. They don’t want to put a strain on Dripto and risk weakening his health severely. Jasmine breaks the silence by calling Nayan a liar, and says that she is Dripto’s wife. Dripto is aghast and yells at Nayan, also calling her a liar. He is disturbed by her presence, and wonders why she would pretend to be his wife. He wants her to get out, and Jasmine is pleased. She threatens Nayan and warns her never to come near him again. A broken Nayan returns to the ashram once again, as she has no other choice.

However, Dripto is not the same after that encounter with Nayan. He cannot stop thinking about why she seems so familiar and why she would lie so preposterously. Disturbed by these thoughts, he does not want to let Jasmine near him again. She is dismayed and curses Nayan for it. Unbeknownst to the family, Dripto slips out of the house in a daze and tries to trace Nayan back to the ashram everyone knows she was at. Barefoot and all askew, Dripto reaches the ashram and is taken aback at Nayan decked up and being worshipped like a goddess.

He arrives and wonders at this strange scene. Nayan is taken aback to suddenly spot him there. She asks him if he has remembered who she is, and he tells her he has not. Yet, he is so intrigued by the chord she has struck, that he wants to get to the bottom of it all. Nayan is heartbroken, shocked, and ecstatic all at the same time.
