Drishtikone is a 2018 Bengali drama film also starring Prosenjit, Rituparna Sengupta, Churni Ganguly, and Kaushik Ganguly. When Srimoti loses her husband in a car accident, she suspects foul play and hires a lawyer named Jiyon Mitra, who is struggling with eyesight problems. During the investigation, Srimoti and Jiyon get attracted to each other, which creates problems in Jiyon’s married life.
Kadambari
Kadambari is a 2015 Bengali biopic starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Kaushik Sen along with many others. Kadambari is the wife of Jyotirindranath Tagore, the elder brother of Rabindranath Tagore. Kadambari is just two years elder to Rabindranath Tagore, and has gotten married at the tender age of nine. She is great friends with the Bard and a major inspiration behind the poems that he writes during his youth. However, society casts aspersions on their equation. Four months after Rabindranath Tagore gets married, Kadambari commits suicide.
6. Ajana Batas
Ajana Batas is a 2015 Bengali drama starring Paoli Dam, Kaushik Sen, Shankar Chakraborty, and Anindita Bose. Deepa, a copywriter, lives in the city, away from her Ranaghat home town. She stays with her uncle who she calls Kakamoni, and is very close to him. They share a unique bond of friendship. Soon, she can hear voices calling out to her but she is not able to tell her uncle about this.
