The Telugu film Jersey, sees Nani playing Arjun and Shraddha Srinath as Sara. It has been making box office records but the film has a layered story to it which touches all hearts. We list down 5 heartwarming scenes that will make your day better.

In the first half-an-hour of the film, we learn about Sara and Arjun’s young love story. In one of the scenes, Arjun’s friends stop him from picking a fight. And there was Sara, asking his friends to not stop him. It remains true to most of us. Just like Sara, we want to be fought for.

Ten years after turning his back on the cricket pitch, the once-a-Ranji-winner Arjun hangs up his boots. This time, however, his only goal is to earn Rs. 500 to buy his son a jersey for his birthday. But the moment he sits in the pavilion, waiting for his turn, a small army of admirers walk in to cheer for him. They are simple workers who stop and watch, cheer for Arjun to win.

After all the negativity and lost hope, Arjun makes it. He gets a second chance and is at #36NotOut. For a decade of being silent, being a loser and bottling it all up. Arjun lets his madness and emotions out, almost poetically, at the railway station. When the train engines warm up, his madness comes out. But once it’s gone, he contains it all.

Two time Ranji selection and hundreds of people who respect him, nothing makes Arjun out of the ordinary. What does, though, is one sentence by his son. ‘Dad, you look like a hero when you play cricket.’ That’s when the real hero, who had been lost in the worldly noises, comes out again.

On one hand, Arjun is climbing the stairs to success when nobody had any hopes. And on the other, the love of his life, the person who had started to be disgusted by him, returns. Sara, after many fights and silent treatments, weeps in his arms once again asking him to win, as she hands over the flight tickets for his ease.
