Iru Mugan Actor Vikram To Become A Grandfather Soon

Silver screen star Vikram, who is popularly known as ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram‘, is one of the most talented actors in the country today. The 53-year-old is fit as a fiddle and is still gives competition to many young actors. With his dashing looks and acting prowess, the actor still manages to get good films that have the calibre to mint attractive numbers at the box office. Vikram can totally give young actors a run for their money.

Well, now the latest news we hear is that Vikram is soon going to become a grandpa. Yes, you read that right! While it is quite hard to believe or picture the actor to have two grown-up children, we hear that he is now going to be a grandfather. As we know, Vikram’s daughter Akshita got married to Manu Ranjith, the son of FMCG honcho CK Ranganathan, in 2017.

Well, Vikram’s daughter is soon going to embrace motherhood. Akshita, who is pregnant, has finally given the much-awaited good news to her parents, Vikram and Shailaja. Isn’t that great news? We also hear that owing to the pandemic situation, it is quite difficult to have a grand party for the big news. So, the family will have a simple celebration to mark the occasion.

On the cinematic front, Vikram was last seen in Rajesh M Selva’s Kadaram Kondan. This film is Vikram’s best film in recent times as his previous two releases Sketch and Saamy 2 were disappointing. The actor will next be seen in R Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Cobra. In the film, the actor will be seen playing seven characters.

Produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio, Cobra also features Srinidhi Shetty, Miya George and Irfan Pathan in essential roles. While the music for the film is being scored by A R Rahman, the film was scheduled to hit the theatres in May 2020. But due to the current lockdown situation, its release has been postponed. Now, looks like, Vikram’s fans will have to wait for the release until the lockdown gets completely lifted.
