Ravi Jadhav’s Timepass featuring Ketaki Mategaonkar and Prathamesh Parab, tells the story of Dagdu and Prajakta, who come from different socio-economic backgrounds and don’t let it come in the way of their love for one another. There are several heartwarming scenes between the two starting with this one where Dagdu is trying to confess his feelings to Prajakta and asking her to reciprocate.

This scene is unique and well thought of as Dagdu and Prajakta are in a library and can’t speak loudly. But that doesn’t stop them from devising their own way of communication. Dagdu picks up books with titles that are close to what he wishes to say and Prajakta reciprocates the same way. How cute is that!

Right after the library scene follows this one, where Dagdu goes to the temple and asks God whether Prajakta feels the same way about him as he does for her. The next minute, she enters the temple and stands next to him. Prajakta confesses her feelings by saying that she gets exasperated when she loses things, so now that she has lost her heart, Dagdu can only imagine her state of mind. Aww!

In this scene, Dagdu and Prajakta are eating ice cream and she drops it by mistake. Just to give her company and not let her feel bad about the same, Dagdu drops his too, pretending that it was an accident. Well, you may think letting go off an ice cream is no big deal, but for some, it’s a huge one!

Prajakta’s strict father comes to know of her affair with Dagdu and forbids her from meeting him. Prajakta discusses the situation with him and says that she loves him for his simplicity. She asks him to let go off her and become a successful man, as that would make her the happiest. Prajakta adds that she feels free when she’s with him and can’t even cry openly in front of her parents.

Here, you feel sorry for Prajakta and being the gentleman that Dagdu is, he holds her hand and consoles her, without saying much.

After the thick and thin that the two face together, Prajakta and Dagdu finally sit down to discuss their future, in this scene. Dagdu talks about having a huge garden and the comfort that he and Prajakta share is heartwarming to see. What’s interesting is that the two’s fathers in the background are looking at the couple and discussing that they can’t be together. But Prajakta and Dagdu are oblivious to this fact and are happy in their own world.
