These types of braids are easy to do and can go with traditional as well as modern wear. Since it’s summer and most of like to be in causal dresses or a simple pair of tee and jeans, these braided hairstyles would be perfect! Here are 5 of them sported by Shevanta that you can get within minutes.
1. Side braid
For this look, you first need to make a side parting. Then, comb your hair to one side and start your braid from there. Remember, you can’t get this look by starting your braid from the centre. The trick is to keep it on one side, so that the braid stays intact.
2. The swept back braid
To get this look, first, make a centre parting and divide the hair into two sections on either side. Then, pin both the sections using bobby pins. After this, take the remaining hair from the back and tie it into a braid. And voila!
3. The bouffant braid
For this style, you first need to first collect a few strands and make them into a section at the front. Keep this section slightly elevated to create a bouffant effect and then pin it at the back using a bobby pin. Take the remaining hair and tie them into a braid. To accessorise the look, take a gajra and pin it on the braid.
4. The thick braid
You can make either a thin or thick braid, depending on the amount of hair you take. For this one, take chunkier sections of hair, to get a heavy and thick braid, like Shevanta is seen sporting here.
5. The side twisted braid
To get this look, you need to first create a side partition. Then, from the larger section of the parted hair, take a few strands and twist them till you get a neat line. Pin it up on the side and create a braid with the remaining hair.
