Did You Know Before Becoming An Actress, Surbhi Jyoti Worked As A Radio Jockey?

Television actress Surbhi Jyoti gained a lot of popularity for her role as Zoya in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai. The diva even won several accolades for her exceptional performances in TV shows. The actress receives a lot of appreciation for her acting and fashion sense. Surbhi has a huge fan following on social media and is one of the popular style divas in the telly world. Surbhi hails from Jalandhar, Punjab and started her career in regional theatre and films. The gorgeous actress gave her first audition for a college play but got rejected. 

The actress then worked as a radio jockey in Punjab and was paid ten thousand rupees for the same. In the episode of, The Greedy Closet Surbhi said that RJ-ing happened to her as she used to talk a lot, but she always wanted to act as it was her passion. She even revealed that Gul Khan, the producer of Qubool Hai found her on the internet. She saw a play clip and wanted Surbhi to come to Mumbai and work.

Surbhi later worked in several Punjabi films and TV serials. She made a debut in Hindi entertainment industry in 2012 as she got an opportunity to play the role of Zoya Farooqui. Within no time, Zoya became a household name, and gained a lot of limelight. She won several awards for best performer of the year and her on-screen chemistry with co-star Karan Singh Grover received appreciation.Right from playing Zoya to Sanam, Seher to Mahira, Surbhi played five different roles in Qubool Hai.

Later, Surbhi worked in TV shows including Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Ishqbaaaz, and many more.
