Pallavi Gowda’s character from the Malayalam serial Alliyambal is known in the village for being someone with a strong will. She wants to be independent and works hard to achieve the same. She is a school-teacher and even though, from a poor household, she takes pride in what she does. Alli is also not one to back out from a fight as she always speaks her mind.

2. Great role-model for all

Alli is vested with an important job as a school teacher in the village. Even though she is respected by all, the financial problems at her house make her a vulnerable target to the ones looking to harm her. Instead of exposing her weakness, Alli uses it as a motivation factor to fight against the ones like Vavachan who are trying to harm her. We can learn from her and fight for what we believe in!

3. Best pair with Devan

One of the best things we love about Alli on Alliyambal is her amazing chemistry with Devan. Devan who is a martial arts trainer finds the emotional support in Alli, while she sees him as her very own superhero. Jai Dhanush and Pallavi Gowda became a viral hit duo during the show’s air time for their romantic scenes together.

4. Alli fights her own battles

If Alli’s character had a superpower it would be definitely her amazing decision-making skills. When Vavachan demeans her in public and passes vulgar comments, Alli is quick to react. She gives him an earful and reminds him to never talk to her again. Despite Devan willing to thrash Vavachan for his behaviour, Alli hides the incident from him as she is capable of fighting her own battles!
