Pratibha Ranta is a popular telly actress who is currently making headlines for her stint in the Zee TV serial Qurbaan Hua. The actress shot to the limelight thanks to her role of Chahat in Zee TV’s Qurbaan Hua. She is paired opposite Karan Jotwani aka Neel who became a household name with Aap Ke Aa Jane Se. Pratibha’s portrayal of a free-spirited girl has earned her appreciation from fans across the country. Read on to know more about the Qurbaan Hua actress.

Early life and family:
Pratibha was born to Rajesh and Sandheshna Ranta on 17 December 2000, in a family hailing from a small town in Daroti, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh). She has two siblings, an elder sister named Abha and a younger brother.
The actress spent her formative years of school in the Convent of Jesus & Mary School in Shimla. Pratibha was interested in the performing arts since her childhood and used to participate enthusiastically in several dance competitions during her schooling years. She continued to pursue her passion for dancing by getting into the Shimla Dance Centre where she received formal training in dance.
Pratibha won many competitions like the reality show Dance Himachal Dance in 2016 and the Indian hip-hop dance championship in 2017 where her crew Meeker Yanks won the silver medal. Later, Pratibha developed a liking for theatre and shifted to Mumbai to follow her dream of becoming an actress.
College days:
After moving to Mumbai along with her sister Abha, Pratibha decided to enrol herself in an institute to learn filmmaking. She got admitted to the Usha Pravin Gandhi College Of Management, where she is currently pursuing her graduation in filmmaking.
Modelling career:
Since she was attracted to the film industry, Pratibha tried her hand at modelling. The talented actress has walked the ramp for many fashion and modelling events throughout her career.
In 2018, she bagged the title of Miss Mumbai owing to her immense talent. Pratibha has also featured in a couple of TV commercials and photoshoots.
TV career:
A few days after coming to Mumbai, Pratibha was offered the role of the female lead in Zee TV’s Qurbaan Hua in February 2020. She made a stunning debut with the show and announced her entry in the film industry as an actress. Pratibha rose to fame within a short span of time after bagging the role of Chahat.
Hobbies and interests:
Apart from modelling and acting, Pratibha loves dancing and travelling. Since her show is set against the backdrop of Devprayag, the 19-year-old actress is often found satisfying her wanderlust while shooting outdoor scenes in the foothills of Rishikesh.
The actress also has an interest in photography.
