Khaali Peeli is the latest Bollywood film to make a direct-t0-web release. But, for the unversed, this photo from Khaali Peeli is located in South Bombay and known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus or CST – formerly Victoria Terminus. Well, a fun fact is that it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s finest and oldest Victorian-Italianate-Gothic style architectural buildings. When the film developed, the flashback scenes started with this as the very first shot.

Interestingly, during a media interaction, the director of the film Maqbool Khan mentioned an incident where the venue got crowded with the locals. “We were shooting for a crucial scene at Raichur Lane in Bhendi Bazaar. And then suddenly after learning about the shoot, hordes of people arrived there. It was a tough task to control the crowd. I think there were as good as 5000 people who were around us,” he said.
