Black Widows Trailer: A Major Twist In The Tale That Leaves The Leading Ladies Afraid

ZEE5 recently released the second trailer of its much-anticipated original series Black Widows that stars many leading actors from the cinema world. The series will star popular actors Shamita Shetty, Mona Singh, and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles, who take their own route to tackle their abusive husbands. While we saw their approach of murdering the husbands in the first trailer, the second one has brought a major twist in the story!

The second trailer has showcased quite a surprising twist in this vengeful story of the three fed-up wives. While in the first one, the three women felt quite accomplished after successfully getting their abusive husbands out of their ways, we get to see a lot of fear in their eyes now. Mona Singh’s character is heard speaking about how she realised that shortcuts do not lead to any destinations after actually taking one. We then see the investigating officer of the case (played by Parambrata Chattopadhyay) shockingly reveal to them that one of their husbands is still alive.

The trailer unfolds with a spine-chilling narration where Kavita (Shamita), Jayati (Swastika), and Veera (Mona) fear the unknown of who managed to live through the blast. Given how all of them were terrified of their cruel, violent and abusive husbands who committed domestic violence, they wonder why their dead husbands are still not leaving them alone. Out of fear, Kavita (played by Shamita Shetty) is even seen regretting their decision to murder their husbands at a point.

In the trailer, Mona’s husband (played by Sharad Kelkar) returns to find out who planned to kill him and the other two husbands. A part of the underworld himself, he also reveals that the choice to enter that world is one’s own but the permission to exit it is only given by one’s boss. In a deadly appearance, Sharad’s character looks determined to find out who conspired his murder as he knew it was not him. In the end, he fiercely announces that he will only leave after he finds out the woman who tried to kill him.

The ZEE5 original series Black Widows is all set to start airing only on ZEE5 from December 18, 2020. The show, that stars Mona Singh, Shamita Shetty and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles, will also see several other actors performing in pivotal roles. The show is a spine-chilling murder-mystery thriller with the biggest twist and a must-watch this December!
