Nail Polish: Why This Gritty Thriller Will Make For A Perfect Watch On The First Day Of The New Year

2020 has finally come to an end and everyone around the world is entering the new year with new energy. This new energy also demands an equally energetic entertainment to fuel the mood. And ZEE5 is giving us just that, right on the first day of the year, with Nail Polish, a courtroom thriller, directed by Bugs Bhargava Krishna.

Nail Polish is the new addition to the very loved genre  of courtroom dramas. But this movie is also a dark thriller, which revolves around the story of the mysterious killing of 36 migrant children, and the court proceedings revolving around the primary accused and his lawyer. The charming actor Manav Kaul plays the role of Veer Singh, the accused. Defending him in the case is Lawyer Jaisingh, played by the immensely talented Arjun Rampal. Actor Anand Tiwari plays the role of the lawyer who aims to prove Veer Singh as the culprit, and the actor Rajith Kapoor is the judge of the case.

The film not only talks about the case but also about the lives of the people involved in it. The film shows how a dark case like this takes a toll on their lives. Jaisingh, the defending lawyer, has a different goal of his own. He needs to win this case to get a seat at the Rajya Sabha for himself. So, with so many different tales entangled in the one serious case, is what makes the film all the more interesting and intriguing.
