Bhalobashar Shohor – Paramount is a truly heartwarming love story that showcases the unpredictable challenges and hurdles life might throw your way out of nowhere. It also deeply focuses on the importance of finding a way out of such troubles with patience and determination for the love you hold for your partner. The plot of Bhalobashar Shohor – Paramount begins with one of the most tragic events one could ever imagine their loved one going through. A married couple, Subho and Rita get into an argument on their anniversary date night and the latter exits the restaurant. What happens after is heartwrenching – Rita is met with an accident which leads to several injuries and a selective loss of memory.
What we are presented with next is slightly heartbreaking but an interesting series of events that captivates us too well. Rita’s memory loss brings about a lot of confusion, irritability, and conflict between the married couple. It also creates several blockages in the way of Subho’s sister and Rita’s brother who had arrived to help Subho take care of Rita after the accident. While the respective siblings tirelessly work towards bringing the couple back together in their matrimony and remind Rita of their past, we witness all of them go through an emotionally challenging experience we would never want to endure in life. The film also ties in a key character exceptionally well into the story – a sharbat shop named Paramount in College Square. It was where Subho and Rita first met.
Starring Paayel Sarkar as Rita and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee as Subho in lead roles, Bhalobashar Shohor – Paramount highlights the battles one may need to fight in life for their love. A beautiful short film directed by Abhijit Chowdhury, it also stars Tanika Basu as Tina and Suhotro Mukhopadhyay as Rishi, the couple’s respective siblings in the film. Bhalobashar Shohor – Paramount is a must-watch for you this Valentine’s Day if you love a romantic-drama that incorporates realistic elements of tragedy, conflict, reunion, family, love, dedication, and more. Grab some popcorn and a few tissues for this one, we can assure you it will be an emotional ride!
