This soothing song composed by Salil Chowdhury was rendered beautifully in the Hindi classic Anand. Just like Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Anand, Crashh too essays themes of losing loved ones, the uncertainty of life, etc. Through the song Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli, Crashh has paid homage to this Hindi cinema classic.
The particular song appears in the opening credits of Crashh and also at many crucial moments in the story. For instance, when Kabir is on his late-night cop duty, this song plays on the radio making him recall his childhood memories.
In the Amol Palekar – Vidya Sinha starrer Chhoti Si Baat, ‘Naa Jaane Kyon’ plays in the pre-climax where Vidya’s character is missing her beau. Meanwhile, in Crashh this classic song is played when Kaajal’s character is dealing with her loneliness in the city. When this song plays she cites her only companion as “chocolates” while recalling the memories of her late parents.
Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe Ho Nisar
This classic song picturized on Raj Kapoor appears at the right time in Crashh as Kabir and Kaajal recall the birthday of their lost twin siblings Alia and Rahim. Just as the song says us to share love and sorrow with each other, in the particular scene we see Kabir and Kaajal wishing the best for their lost brother and sister.
This popular R.D Burman song plays during a chase sequence between Kabir and the gang of criminals. Through this song, the makers highlighted the world of crime while also framing the first meet-up between Rahim and Kabir.
The Asha Bhosle song plays in Crashh during a rainy night where the whole city seems to be drowned in love. This is where Kabir yet again recalls his lost siblings and the good time he spent with them in his childhood. As the song plays ahead, the peak moment of the story comes to life as Kabir’s long search ends him reuniting with his sister Kaajal.
So, that was the list of Hindi classic songs that added a heartwarming essence to this lost and found drama.
