Silence: What Happened When Trekkers Discovered Pooja’s Dead Body?

ZEE5 is coming with a new murder mystery movie, Silence – Can You Hear It. Starring Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai, the movie is directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, who has been known for her role in Dear Zindagi and writing and directing the short film, Teaspoon. ‘Silence – Can You Hear It’ will premiere on ZEE5 on 26 March. The film revolves around a mysterious murder of a woman, whose body was discovered on a trekking path.

The plot of Silence – Can You Hear It revolves around a strange murder mystery. A woman named Pooja, who was visiting her friend in Madh Island, in Mumbai, shockingly goes missing. Not knowing where she went missing from, people are left confused. However, somewhere far from Madh, on a hill near Mumbai, some trekkers stumble upon Pooja’s dead body.

If you are aware of the trekking expeditions in Maharashtra, you would know how they are carried out. Maharashtra has a lot of forts on its hills and mountains, which were built by the Maratha rulers, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. These forts have now become trekking sites, where a lot of people from all over come to trek, camp, and explore, for a day or two, mostly on weekends. In such a scenario, where some people are enjoying their trekking, finding a dead body suddenly will definitely come as a huge shock for them.

The people who would be trekking at the time would be the common folk, wanting a break from their college or office routine, or having the best times, feeling excited about their adventure. However, they would get the shock of their lives, when an unwanted adventure sees them right in their eyes!

We can imagine what these trekkers would have felt like! Often there’s no mobile network on these hills, and the network coverage is very weak. In such a scenario, it would be next to impossible to even contact emergency services. The trekkers might have had to trek their way down to a village or the city to be able to contact the cops or even the ambulance. The trauma that they might’ve carried while keeping the strength to walk back would be certainly shocking.

The trekkers who find the body would have one too many questions going on in their minds. From wondering about who she is to what they should do next, they would be left confused after witnessing this horrific chapter. Their point of view would certainly indicate a murder but they would have no extra knowledge about this mystery. All they can do is help the cops with their investigation by anwering questions that they may ask.

Silence – Can You Hear It, is bringing this appalling murder mystery to you on March 26 on ZEE5. Actor Manoj Bajpayee is playing the role of the investigation officer, ACP Avinash Verma, in charge of investigating this murder. Prachi Desai is playing the role of Inspector Sanjana, who will probably work with ACP Avinash to solve this murder.

The film also stars Arjun Mathur, Sahil Vaid, Waqar Sheikh, Shishir Sharma, Sohaila Kapoor, and Barkha Singh as Pooja, the one who gets killed.
