Pookalam Varavayi: When it comes to love, Abhimanyu can surely learn a thing or two from Harshan

Abhimanyu from Pookalam Varavayi is an ace businessman. We’ve observed from the beginning how easily he has managed every issue that came his way. Although he behaved quite like a misogynist earlier, we saw him evolve after his marriage to Samyuktha. Not just Samyuktha, but we even started warming up to the new Abhimanyu, despite his arrogant attitude. But lately, he’s been going on and off too frequently. Even after falling for Samyuktha, the guy is still mean towards her.

Meanwhile, we see a warm, loving husband in Harshan who constantly showers Saptathi with affection. With such contrasting behaviour within brothers, we can’t help but wonder if Abhimanyu should learn a thing or two about love from his brother Harshan.

Lately, we saw Abhimanyu falling in love with Samyuktha. But the former is unable to express his feelings towards her. In fact, he does the exact opposite. Every time poor Samyuktha tries to have a romantic conversation, Abhimanyu always dismisses her. Recently, when there was a discussion about having kids and Samyuktha expressed her enthusiasm, Abhimanyu got pissed at her. He was also seen threatening her with the ‘divorce’ topic again.

On the other hand, after the same discussion, an overtly-excited Harshan was seen talking to a pregnant Saptathi about having more kids. He didn’t just joke around it but also seemed genuinely interested in thinking along those lines.

Abhimanyu definitely needs to learn how to loosen up from Harshan. Even if he wouldn’t react the way Harshan did, the least he can do is to be a little less rude with Samyuktha. We had also seen him daydream about having kids with Samyuktha, so clearly he doesn’t have a problem with the idea. The only thing he needs to control is his reactions around Samyuktha.

Abhimanyu had been planning to gift Samyuktha a diamond ring for quite some time now. Although the ring he got earlier was taken by Sharmila, he made sure to get a similar ring for his wife. But what Abhimanyu doesn’t understand it that Samyuktha isn’t looking for expensive gifts. She just wants her husband to love her.

Harshan doesn’t earn as much as Abhimanyu, but he still keeps his wife happy because of how expressive he is. He never shies away from telling Saptathi exactly how he feels, and this is definitely something Abhimanyu needs to learn from him.

When Abhimanyu gave Samyuktha the ring, our hearts fluttered a little. There seemed to be hope for this man after all. But the very next moment, not only ours but even Samyuktha’s hopes were crushed when he went back to his usual arrogant self. Despite Samyuktha putting in all the efforts to reach out to him, Abhimanyu shut her down cruelly. In fact, he even went to the extent of asking her what she would do if he left her. Samyuktha was left heartbroken and taken aback by this statement.

If Abhimanyu doesn’t learn something from Harshan and mend his ways soon, he might just lose Samyuktha forever.
