Various Bollywood actors have doppelgangers who rise to fame when the internet recognizes them and makes their pictures or videos viral across social media platforms. Actors like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Karisma Kapoor, amongst others, have lookalikes, who have been recognized by the fans in the past. Akshay Kumar’s look-alike is a man named Majid Mir, who hails from Kashmir. Pictures of the elderly man had gone viral on social media as to where he was seen wearing an Akshay Kumar style beard with an umpire’s hat on his head. People actually mistook him for Akshay Kumar and expressed their fascination over the picture through hilarious messages. Karisma Kapoor’s doppelganger, on the other hand, rose to fame through Tik Tok, as she remade multiple Karisma Kapoor videos with proper makeup and costumes.

Bollywood actors and their doppelgangers have had a special place in the hearts of the audience as they find the concept quite fascinating. Various actors in the film industry have a doppelganger and some of them have even had the opportunity to meet the stars in person. Ajay Devgn’s doppelganger surfaced as a joke when the actor had been endorsing a famous pan masala company. People were of the stance that the look-alike, who was skinnier than the actor was actually Ajay Devgn after excessive consumption of pan masala. The joke had been running on the internet for quite some time.

John Abraham came across his doppelganger himself when he had been shopping at a mall. He also shared a picture with the man, highlighting the resemblance. Salman Khan seems to have multiple lookalikes and one of them is even in Pakistan. A picture of the man had gone viral on social media making people believe that the two look exactly the same. Aactor Sonakshi Sinha also hads a doppelganger and she goes by the name Priya Mukherjee. The young girl is often mistaken to be the actor herself and also uses social media handles with Sonakshi Sinha’s name in it. The last on the list is actor Ranbir Kapoor, who had a doppelganger named Junaid Shah from Kashmir. The 28-year-old suffered a heart attack in 2020 and passed away.
