Ruhi Chaturvedi Birthday: From A Clueless Girl To A Villainous Mastermind, Here’s How Sherlyn’s Character Has Evolved In Kundali Bhagya

Ruhi Chaturvedi has made a household name with her role as Sherlyn in the Zee TV show Kundali Bhagya. She has been immensely loved by fans for her role. From plotting evil masterstrokes to making Preeta’s life a living hell, Sherlyn did it all. While Prithvi (Sanjay Gagnani) and Mahira (Swati Kapoor)  were plotting against the Luthra family by trying to enter the house, Sherlyn had a rather smooth entry by getting married to Rishabh Luthra (Manit Joura). On the occasion of Ruhi Chaturvedi’s birthday (April 27), here’s taking a look at how Ruhi Chaturvedi’s role as Sherlyn has evolved in the show.

Sherlyn was introduced to the Luthra family as the ‘prospective bride’ for Rishabh. She was the daughter of Karina’s friend and so, she was invited to Kritika’s (Twinkle Vasisht) engagement. Sherlyn was introduced as a diva who loves dressing up, partying, and placing online orders. She was also pretty straightforward however no one knew about her past life.

Sherlyn wanted to impress everyone and get closer to Rishabh however he was in love with Preeta and so she was jealous of her. Initially, Sherlyn was all naive and her plans often used to get busted. But she definitely evolved with time and soon started manipulating Luthras against Preeta.

Later, while Prithvi showered immense fake love on Sherlyn, he was actually attracted to Preeta. Both Sherlyn and Prithvi planned to get close to Rishabh and Preeta to separate them. Prithvi was almost ready to get married to Preeta and Sherlyn was getting engaged to Rishabh.

After Sherlyn got married to Rishabh, she started stirring troubles for Preeta. While she kept plotting against her, those plans didn’t work. While Sherlyn thought she was trying to play smart, she was actually playing very dumb.

However, her character evolved when she knew she was pregnant with Prithvi’s baby and wanted everyone to believe that it is Rishabh’s. Sherlyn got Rishabh drunk and made everyone believe that he had gotten her pregnant. This was certainly a well-executed plan and Sherlyn was soon learning the ropes of being an evil villain.

Though Preeta tried to expose Sherlyn however Prithvi helped her in escaping. Sherlyn with time played several games with the Luthras. Be it separating Karan-Preeta, helping Mahira to marry Karan, making an attempt to kill Mahesh, and now helping Prithvi escape the investigation of Akshay’s murder, she has done it all.

Sherlyn was welcomed in the house as a ‘prospective bride’ but her intentions were different and with time she has just become a villain in the show. Her tricks are just getting more vicious and we cannot deny, she is becoming smarter with each passing day. While Preeta has tried to expose her on several occasions, she has always managed to pave her way out of it. Hence proving that she is a bigger player.

Sherlyn might be the villain you hate the most, but she’s definitely a strong character that you don’t mess with. Over the months, she has successfully established herself as Preeta’s biggest nemesis and she’s just getting started. There’s a lot more in store for us.
