Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe’ Confirmed To Hit The Theatres And ZEEPlex On Eid 2021

Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently made a major announcement about the release of his next film, Radhe, which has been creating a lot of hype amongst the fans. The film had been scheduled to release on May 13, 2021, on the occasion of Eid but there had been no confirmation regarding the release date after the second wave of COVID-19 hit the country. According to the most recent announcement, the film will release in theatres and on the paid platform ZeePlex, simultaneously. ZeePlex is a movie streaming application that allows the audience to watch the film by paying a small amount to the platform. Previously, Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter starrer Khaali Peeli had released on the ZeePlex platform due to the nationwide lockdown.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently shared a series of updates on his next film with director Prabhudeva. According to the video attached above, the actor recently confirmed that the film will hit the theatres as scheduled on May 13, 2021. He also shared a small update that the film will be simultaneously released on the paid streaming platform ZeePlex so that the film can also be enjoyed from home. Radhe had been announced in 2019 and was originally scheduled to release in 2020 but the dates had to be pushed due to the ongoing pandemic.

India has been currently witnessing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic as the numbers have been rising on an everyday basis. The government in Maharashtra imposed a partial lockdown in most places which also resulted in the shutting down of theatres. In the current situation and rising numbers, various states have been following Maharashtra’s lead and imposing fresh guidelines to curb the virus. In such a condition, Salman Khan’s film Radhe was expected to get pushed to a new date but the team has decided to stick to Eid release. The film has been produced by Arbaaz Khan’s banner and stars a talented star cast including Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, and Disha Patani, amongst others.
