Anupam Kher Launches Project Heal India To Provide COVID-19 Related Aid And More

Through his charitable trust, actor Anupam Kher has now launched an initiative to help India battle COVID-19 better.

COVID-19 hit India with a second wave recently, and the results of it have been disastrous. Innumerable people infected by the virus, and a large number of them succumbing to it, has left the nation in distressful condition. To help tackle the situation, with any bit of contribution possible, many celebrities have stepped forward. Similarly, actor Anupam Kher has now launched Project Heal India to provide valuable resources, funds and critical medical equipment to the ones in need.

Several Bollywood celebrities have come up with different ways to help India and its citizens fight the COVID-19 battle better. Anupam Kher has taken a very similar step and a launched Project Heal India via the Anupam Kher Foundation, his public charitable trust. Through this initiative, the actor is looking to provide aid and relief to the community amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the actor has aced his acting career over the years, he is now working on helping his nation survive the crisis that coronavirus has brought with it by procuring valuable consignments of extremely important and high-in-demand medical equipment. These include ventilators and oxygen concentrators, while the initiative is also striving to raise funds, arrange for medication and other necessary relief measures for those suffering and in need.

Anupam Kher has shared details of this project by the Anupam Kher Foundation along with various updates and results of the work they are putting in. On May 9, a video of the medical consignments at the airport, waiting to be shipped to India, was shared on the Twitter handle of his Anupam Kher Foundation as well. With a shortage of ICU ward equipment in the nation along with many other things, the actor hopes to be able to provide as much aid and help as possible to eliminate it.
