Upon easing of lockdown restrictions, Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif has resumed working on her film projects. While she’s all set to begin shooting for the third part of the ‘Tiger’ franchise, the actor is also prepping for her forthcoming project with Sriram Raghavan. Yes! Last month when the news of Raghavan’s next film broke out, it left the fans super excited. And now, the recent reports state that Katrina has started readings for the film and is set to step into the shoes of her character.
Katrina will be seen collaborating with filmmaker Sriram Raghavan for the first time. And as per the latest updates, the script reading sessions have already begun for Kat. Also, she’s spending more time with Raghavan to understand her character even better. Reports add that Katrina is keen on knowing what is expected of her and wants to dive deeper into her on-screen persona.
The film will also feature south star Vijay Sethupathi in the lead and will mark the actor’s second venture into Hindi films. Earlier, he starred in Santosh Sivan’s ‘Mumbaikar’. Talking more about Raghavan’s project, the film is expected to be a 90-minutes drama and will be shot under a schedule of 30 days. While the pre-production of the film has begun, the makers are planning to kick off the shoot once Katrina wraps up the ‘Tiger’ project.
Earlier this year, Katrina joined Salman and Emraan for the shoot of Tiger 3. However, owing to the second Covid-19 wave, the film was stalled. Now that the lockdown restrictions have been lifted, the makers are planning to resume the shoot in Mumbai.
The year 2021 seems to be a busy one for Katrina as she has many projects lined up. Apart from Raghavan’s film, Katrina will also be seen in Phone Bhoot. Also, the actor is eagerly waiting for the release of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which was postponed due to the pandemic.
