Recently, the shutterbugs amassed at the Mumbai airport as they spotted Lara Dutta. As per the reports, the actor was heading out for the promotions of ‘Bell Bottom’. Upon the request of the paps, Lara posed for a few snaps with all smiles. Also, a cameraperson was seen sharing his excitement about this upcoming release as he showered the actor with praises. He noted the film’s release being delayed multiple times. Reacting to the same, Lara said that the film is quite “interesting” and is “really worth the wait”.

Lara kept her airport look quite casual as she opted for a black solid top paired up with a white dotted skirt. The actor had her face mask on, owing to Covid-19 safety.

Coming to Bell Bottom, the first trailer of the film was released last week. And this first glimpse of the much-awaited spy thriller has got everyone excited. While many fans compare it with Akshay Kumar’s previous hits like Baby and Special 26, a few others were happy to see the actor back in his trademark style.

Also, it was Lara Dutta’s unrecognizable avatar in the trailer that took the fans by surprise. The actor has stepped into the shoes of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. And her impressive look with perfect acting chops has piqued everyone’s interest.

Talking more about Bell Bottom, it is highly inspired by the true story of plane hijacks in the 80s. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta, the spy-drama also features Vaani Kapoor in a pivotal role. The film is scheduled to have a theatrical release on August 19, 2021.
