BollywoodDid you know that the most trending actors today once have given the biggest flop films? Here are actors who had a flop debut and rose only with hard work
Bollywood today has many stars riding on their backs at the box office success. But success wasn’t a cakewalk for all of them. Some of them had godfathers in the industry and came from a filmy background, but call it dedication and hard work that they’re here even after flops. Here are actors who had a flop debut and rose only with hard work.
Ranbir Kapoor–
Ranbir Kapoor has seen in his long hair and boy next door looks in his debut film, Sawariya. The only thing that we remember from his debut film Saawariya is his towel dance and running behind Sonam Kapoor all the time. The film did very poorly at the box office. Thankfully, Ranbir played his cards right and helped us erase his image of a flop actor. He picked Bachna Ae Haseeno as his second film and became the most coveted actor of this time. We loved his Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Rockstar, Tamasha, and the super adorable, Barfi!
Shraddha Kapoor–
Shraddha Kapoor came to Bollywood with her film, Luv Ka The End; no one remembers her because of the film being a super flop. She was then cast opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Teen Patti. The film went down like a sinking ship, and Shraddha had to rework her career to make a mark. She returned with Aashiqui 2 romancing Aditya Roy Kapoor and swept our hearts. She proved that she’s not just a pretty face but also a good actress.
Salman Khan–
Salman Khan is the definition of falling and rising again and again. He has no limits at being successful now, But Salman has had his share of struggles, despite being the son of screenwriter Salim Khan. He debuted as a supporting actor in Biwi Ho To Aisi, and he was hardly seen in the film except for his dancing. He was cast in Maine Pyar Kiya, and the rest was history.
It took Shahenshah of Bollywood 7 films until he hit the bull’s eye. His flop debut happened among six other actors in the movie, Saath Hindustani. However, he kept singing films until Zanjeer and Deewar came, making him the angry-young-man of Bollywood. His stardom today needs no further explanation. He represents Indian cinema globally with his exceptional skills.
With hard work and dedication they have proven to be great actors and surely made the saying happen–Where there is a will, there is a way.
