Bhavai: Pratik Gandhi’s Bollywood Debut Pushed By Three Weeks; Will Hit The Theatres On THIS Date

Pratik Gandhi has come a long way in the industry. From leaving everyone’s jaws dropped to the floors with his acting skills, the actor is climbing his way to the top. Pratik Gandhi is already a star and now his much-awaited B-Town debut film Bhavai is going to release in theatres on this date. Fans are highly awaiting his presence on the big screen

Pratik Gandhi rose to undisputed stardom and fame because of his leading digital show in which he played the role of Harshad Mehta and that highlighted his unparalleled acting skills and charisma. Pratik Gandhi brought the world’s audience to his palms with his new project. From a guy next door to an A-listed Bollywood star. Now, Pratik Gandhi is all set to enthrall his audience yet aging with his much-awaited B-Town debut.

Directed by Hardik Gajjar and backed by Pen Studios, Pratik Gandhi’s Bhavai will release in theatres on October 22. However, it was scheduled to launch on October 1. However, since the Chief Minister of Maharashtra has officially announced that theatres can resume working on October 22, Pratik Gandhi’s Bollywood debut is highly anticipated by fans.

Pen Studios had taken on their official social media handle and thanked the Government of India who decided and allowed that theatres to resume working. The film ‘Bhavai’ is about the popular folk theatre form from Gujarat, was earlier titled “Raavan Leela”.

In Bhavai, Pratik Gandhi plays the role of Raja Ram Joshi, while his leading love in the film Aindrita Ray plays the role of Rani in the film. ‘Bhavai’ is a love story set in `1982 in a rural village in Gujarat, two artists a local boy Raja Ram Joshi (Pratik Gandhi) and Rani (Aindrita Ray) who work for Ram Leela drama company and how it affects their personal life off stage. Bhavai also stars Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles.

Pratik Gandhi who likes to experiment with his role said in an interview with a leading publication that, ”This was before ‘Scam: 1992’ in 2018, when I first heard the narration, I was clear and convinced that I want to do this movie. I told director Hardik Gajjar ‘now you decide if you want me for this character because at that time, apart from the Gujarati movie I hadn’t explored anything else’,” he says.
