KBC 13: Riteish Deshmukh And Genelia D’Souza Shed Tears On The Sets Of The Game Show; Amitabh Bachchan Lauds The Couple For THIS Initiative

The question and answer game show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, Kaun Banega Crorepati is making headlines. The makers of the show have dropped the promo of the Shaandaar Shukravaar episode. In the clip, the guests for the episode Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were seen. The duo came on the show to play the quiz game with Amitabh Bachchan. The amount that they will back from the show will be used to raise funds for cancer-stricken children.

In the promo, one can see Genelia in tears. And the reason was a video of kids at a cancer treatment center that played on the sets of KBC 13. Her husband and actor Riteish Deshmukh said that we will never be able to understand what those kids have gone through. Later the host of KBC 13, Amitabh Bachchan lauded the couple for the efforts they are making for them.

A previous KBC 13 promo featured Riteish going down on one knee and reciting the lines that come from Amitabh’s films to compliment his wife Genelia. Riteish also gave his twist to Amitabh’s iconic line from Shahenshah and said, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare pati lagte hai, lekin naam hai Genelia sa naura.”

Talking more about the couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia first met while shooting for their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam. The film was released in 2003. They dated for several years before marriage and they tied a knot together on February 3, 2012. They have two sons, Rahyl and Riaan and they make a cute couple together. Riteish and Genelia always give us major love goals and fans go gaga over them.

Meanwhile, talking about Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 features celebrity guests every Friday. The most recent Shaandaar Shukravaar episode featured Pankaj Tripathi and Pratik Gandhi.
