OMG 2: Did Paresh Rawal Refuse To Reprise His Role Because Of His Fallout With Akshay Kumar? Here’s The Truth

Paresh Rawal talks about the real rationale behind declining to reprise his role in his Bollywood Film, OMG. Word on the street said that Paresh and Akshay Kumar had a falling out, that is why Paresh refused to act in the OMG sequel. The fallout between the two stars, allegedly, happened because Paresh demanded an additional fee for the sequel, claiming that it was Paresh because of whom OMG was successful and not Akshay.
The fans were eager to watch Paresh Rawal in the sequel after his iconic role of Kanjibhai Mehta in OMG. Seeing Akshay Kumar, paired with Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam sent a wave of inquisitiveness among the fans of OMG.

Paresh Rawal said that the real reason why he refused to reprise his role in the sequel is he did not find the plot engaging. Paresh says that if he does not enjoy himself as a character, he refuses to act the role. He adds that if a movie wants to take a leap into a sequel, said leap should be a quantum one.
