Sharmila and Mansoor met through a common mate at an after-match party that was held in Delhi in year 1965. Our hero of the love story was in the city along with his team and Sharmila had gone to watch a match. That’s when they met and fell in love and they took their bond to eternity. Sharmila and Tiger ended up getting married in 1969. The two souls came together setting an example for the rest of the lovers in the world. While he was a royal Nawabi, she was a Bengali beauty and this combination wrote lovable history in the records of love.

Later, Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi embraced parenthood as they welcomed their three children, Saif Ali Khan, Saba, and Soha Ali Khan. After spending 42 years together, Nawab of Pataudi left for his heavenly adobe in 2011. But still, his memories are alive in the heart of the birthday girl.
