Superheroes do play an important role in the movies but villains are the ones who grab the attention of the audience. As per reports, Corey Stoll will play MODOK In the upcoming sequence of Ant-Man

Marvel movies have created a huge fan base with their amazing movies and cast and even the villains had created a buzz whether it’s Thanos from Avengers: Endgame or Randy Vale Darter from Spider-Man: Homecoming. These characters have a big influence on the audience. Superheroes do play an important role in the movies but villains are the ones who grab the attention of the audience.

Even though Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror has been billed as the major enemy in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it appears that he will not be the only villain wreaking havoc. Corey Stoll, who portrayed Darren Cross, a.k.a. YellowJacket, in the first Ant-Man film, was said to be returning in some manner for the threequel back in July. However, fresh evidence has emerged claiming that, rather than continuing his YellowJacket responsibilities, Stoll’s Cross is being reimagined as a new, potentially more famous Marvel antagonist.

MODOK will play a huge part in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, according to the filmmaker, who just revealed that, contrary to earlier speculations, Jim Carrey would not portray the big-headed bad guy. Instead, GWW is now saying that Corey Stoll will play MODOK in the third Ant-Man film, a significant change from the character’s comic book portrayal.

Stars such as Michael Douglas, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, and Michelle Pfeiffer have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The franchise has piqued the interest of both veteran performers and newcomers who have gone on to become stars.

Carrey and Marvel fans would delight if he joined the MCU. At the moment, this news is disheartening, and we’ll have to make do with the knowledge that Jim’s involvement in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has already been confirmed, with the first teaser slated to debut tomorrow at the Game Awards.
